We’re big fans of Blue Crow Media’s architectural city maps, the latest of which features the most iconic and inspiring examples of Brutalist architecture in Sydney.
The map features fifty buildings across the city, along with photographs and an introduction to Glenn Harper. As Harper explains, Brutalism was relatively late to flourish in Sydney, but ‘as a city bathed in sunlight [it] was the perfect setting to highlight the textured surfaces of the European derived ethos’.
